5 Path Blended American Whiskey, the primary full-strength spirit from Molson Coors Beverage Firm, has launched its restricted Batch 002 mix.
Bottled at 95 proof, the brand new expression is now out there in markets inside Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
5 Path debuted in September 2021 with Batch 001, a mix of 4-year Colorado single malt, 4-year Kentucky 4 grain bourbon, 4-year Indiana wheated bourbon and 13-year Kentucky bourbon, lower to proof with Rocky Mountain water. It was bottled in partnership with Bardstown Bourbon Firm.
The Batch 002 mix can also be bottled in partnership with Bardstown Bourbon Firm, however replaces the 4-year Colorado single malt with 6-year and the 13-year Kentucky bourbon with 12-year.
The result’s a golden amber whiskey with an aroma of candy caramel, pecans and biscuit, the corporate stories, with hints of wooden sugar, caramel, apple, white cherry, smoke, ginger, and allspice on the palate. The end has notes of oak, ginger and nutty stability.
