HERSHEY, PA – Tröegs Impartial Brewing pronounces the discharge of Oktoberfest Lager, a toasty, crisp, and festive beer for the autumn season.
Deciphering this timeless German model begins with a conventional brewing method referred to as decoction.
“By boiling a portion of the mash, we create a brilliant, dry maltiness,” says brewmaster and co-founding brother, John Trogner.
A kettle addition of Hallertau Custom hops provides refined floral and natural undercurrents.
Ringing in at 6.1% ABV, this toasty lager boasts notes of candy caramel, fresh-baked bread, and flowering herbs.
To seize the celebratory spirit of the annual Oktoberfest celebration, Tröegs employed German artist David Leutert, who took inspiration from the Bavarian flag and conventional beer halls often known as “Festzelte,” or “beer tents”.
Oktoberfest joins two of Tröegs’ standard year-round beers, Troegenator Double Bock and Sunshine Pilsner, as a part of the brewery’s Lengthy Stay Lagers celebration of this trending beer model.
Oktoberfest Lager is out there on draft and in 12-oz. bottles and cans in all places Tröegs beer is offered.
