We’re excited to introduce a set of 4 impartial single cask releases from Mossburn that are unique to our clients at The Whisky Store! This Benriach expression was distilled in 2010 and matured for 11 years in an Oloroso hogshead, restricted to 302 bottles and at a cask energy of 61.8% abv. This dram is free from chill filtration and is left at pure color.
The dram opens with aromas of creamy white chocolate, recent cherries and freshly lower grass. The palate is wealthy with freshly brewed espresso, ripe apples and toasted oats. The end lingers with cacao, unique spices and slight hints of peppermint.
