Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, CVNE, has acquired Bodegas La Val, situated in Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin (DO), Spain.
The Rioja group provides its eighth vineyard, incorporating Albariño wines into the household. That is the primary vineyard within the Rías Baixas appellation to hitch CVNE, which is already current within the DO Ca Rioja, DO Ribera del Duero, DO Valdeorras and DO Cava.
Víctor Urrutia, CVNE’s CEO, stated: “CVNE is a nationwide treasure and our goal is to be Spain’s most necessary vineyard. Shopping for La Val will assist us consolidate this goal.”
Bodegas La Val was based in 1985 and is a historic vineyard within the Rias Baixas area.
With this acquisition, CVNE incorporates a vineyard and acknowledged model into the group. At the moment, La Val has greater than 222 acres, or 90 hectares of vineyards and solely produces wines from its personal vineyards.
