Polished-casual eating chain Firebirds Wooden Fired Grill has been acquired by New York-based funding agency Garnett Station Companions. Monetary phrases weren’t disclosed.
The funding will allow Charlotte, NC-based Firebirds to speed up its progress and growth. Based in 2000, the chain now operates 56 places throughout 20 states. The eating places function a signature wood-burning grill and award-winning Firebar.
The restaurant group has modified fingers a couple of occasions in recent times. Non-public-equity agency Angelo Gordon acquired it in 2011 and private-equity agency J.H. Whitney Capital Companions purchased Firebirds in 2018.
