GlenDronach Distillery Launches Restricted Cask Energy Batch 10

The GlenDronach Distillery not too long ago introduced the tenth launch of its Cask Energy Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, crafted by Grasp Blender Rachel Barrie from a mix of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.

GlenDronach Cask Energy Batch 10 was bottled on the whisky’s pure cask energy, as was the customized, it’s stated, earlier than the flip of the twentieth century.

In an announcement from the distiller, Barrie stated, “The GlenDronach Cask Energy Batch 10 is extremely wealthy and full-bodied with the total depth of sherry cask maturation at its coronary heart … it affords a cornucopia of taste, from richly spiced fruitcake to darkish cherry and ginger jam.”

The restricted launch showcases the historic distillery’s “richly sherried” Single Malts, consultant of The GlenDronach, which was established in 1826.

To be precise, Batch 10 is bottled at 58.6% ABV, and its deep colour comes naturally over time from the Spanish oak by which it rests.

The brand new expression is obtainable throughout the U.S. at a instructed retail value of $99.99.

The distiller’s notes present that Batch 10 has a chestnut bronze colour and on the nostril, there are aromas of mocha, apricot and baked orange chocolate cake, with roasted almond, walnut and raisin on a base of fragrant toasted oak.

On the palate, the whisky tastes of spiced fruitcake with nectarine, darkish cherry and honeyed sultana raisins.
