GSN’s Remarks: A compact nostril bomb of candy and spicy in equal measure. Precisely what we had hoped for. On the palate, the flavors burst forth with a rush of candy port, vigorous rye and and warming, close to dessert-like joviality. Not one of the excessive rye kick has been misplaced, however fairly has been wed to the inherent depth of the ex-Porto barrels. A clear, spherical and solely barely woody mouthfeel, results in a spectacular end which takes a number of minutes to finish. Really distinctive and the epitome of distilling and artistic ageing.
