I’m past humbled to have been acknowledged with a Toast! Award for ‘Wine Business Champion’ as a part of this 12 months’s Public sale of Washington Wines. The Public sale is in its thirty fifth 12 months and has raised over $55M to offer cash for Seattle Kids’s HospitalWashington State College’s Viticulture & Enology program, and the Public sale of Washington Wines’ Business Grant

Annually the Public sale has acknowledged an honorary grower and vintner. This 12 months the Public sale expanded the award program and created an occasion to rejoice honorees, happening on August eleventh. 

Public sale government director Jamie Peha wrote “This night we acknowledge people and organizations who’ve given the perfect of themselves to make sure the on-going success of the trade. Congratulations to the different people who have been acknowledged: Bob Betz (Lifetime Achievement Award); Dick Boushey (Award of Distinction); Kevin Corliss (Honorary Grower); John Bookwalter (Honorary Vintner); Chateau Ste Michelle (Public sale of Washington Wines Star Award); Washington Winegrowers (Wholesome Land, Wholesome Communities); Senator Kurtis King and Consultant Larry Springer (Martin Clubb Washington Wine Hero Award); Patrick Rawn (Vine to Wine); Lacey Lybecker, Sadie Drury, Andrew Januik, and Shae Frichette (Rising Leaders); and honorary chairs Marchese Piero Antinori (Marchesi Antinori SpA), Renzo Cotarella (Marchesi Antinori SpA), and Marvin Shanken (Wine Spectator).
