Accessible for the primary time within the U.S. this month, Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky has launched the newest addition in its Crimson Wine Cask Assortment: Aberfeldy 15 Years Outdated Restricted Version.
This was completed in cabernet sauvignon wine casks sourced from Napa Valley.
Since 2019, Malt Grasp Stephanie Macleod has explored how flavors from purple wine casks work together with Aberfeldy’s aged malt.
Aberfeldy 15 Years Outdated Restricted Version first matures in a mixture of refill casks after which finishes within the Napa cabernet sauvignon wine barrels.
The ensuing taste profile has aromatic notes of raspberry jam, parma violets, cinnamon and freshly floor espresso beans, the corporate reviews, alongside the signature honeyed profile that Aberfeldy is understood for.
Aberfeldy 15 Years Outdated Restricted Version is 43% ABV.
