YAKIMA, Washington – Yakima Chief Hops (YCH), a 100% farmer-owned international hop provider, is happy to announce the pre-order opening of their Sixth Annual Pink Boots Mix in partnership with Pink Boots Society (PBS). PBS is a global nonprofit with a mission to help, encourage, and encourage ladies and non-binary people within the fermented and alcoholic beverage trade by way of training.
The Pink Boots Mix is an annual hop mix and a part of YCH’s dedication to empowering individuals throughout the craft beer trade. YCH and Pink Boots Society have labored collectively for the previous six years to boost help for ladies and non-binary people, having generated over $500,000 in whole scholarship funding by way of the Pink Boots Mix.
PBS members collaboratively choose the mix, then a sign-up for pre-orders is opened for the craft brewing group focused on brewing a Pink Boots beer. A portion of the gross sales proceeds is contributed to the PBS scholarship fund. This helps present instructional alternatives to ladies and non-binary people within the trade.
The deadline to enroll is Dec. thirty first, permitting time to ship and brew by Worldwide Ladies’s Day on March 8 when PBS hosts their Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day. Brewers are inspired to register their Pink Boots Mix brew day and be part of the rising international craft beer trade custom that conjures up group, range, and empowerment.
