Galaad 2018/2021 (53%, LMDW, Model Française, 485 bottles)

Cotswolds ‘Sherry Cask’ (57.4%, OB, England, small batch, 2020)

Feedback: began very effectively, the end was tougher. 2 a lot oak.

Bimber ‘Ex-rye whisky barrel’ (58.5%, OB, England, 2021)

Milk & Honey 2018/2021 (54.9%, OB, Israel, ex-Islay, personal, cask #2018-0687, 224 bottles)
It took me a little bit time however I am a lot impressed with what these individuals at M&H are doing. Color: gold. Nostril: ex-Islay normally means ex-Laphroaig. I do not fairly know why Laphroaig are being so liberal with their casks. IKEA wooden, teak, kippers, new parquet, eucalyptus wooden. With water: same-ish. Turpentine and varied terpenes. Mouth (neat): LOL and sort of good. Rubber, myrtle, bell pepper. A bit powerful, in actual fact, I suppose water is obligatory right here. With water: a little bit an excessive amount of for me, I am afraid. Very heavy smoked rubber, cannabis, oils… End: identical. Feedback: this one went wild. Heaven Hill 12 yo (64.9%, Cadenhead, USA, World Whiskies, barrel, 240 bottles, 2021)

St Kilian 2017/2021 (59.6%, OB, Germany, Whisky People, 1st fill oloroso hogshead, cask #674, 446 bottles) 
Nicknamed ‘oloroso grandioso’. Color: gold. Nostril: some meaty fruitiness, doughs, orange blossom and honeysuckle, cauliflower beignets, pancakes, cappuccino, earthy greens (that is root greens, no?) and pipe tobacco. A whole lot of pipe tobacco. With water: smoke, rubber, and the tyres and brakes of Porsche after just a few rounds on the Nordschleife. Mouth (neat): heavy, very heavy, however it’s the sort of heaviness that we predict we get pleasure from. Thick clove-driven spiciness, many resins, important oils, propolis, paint… Seems like all the things’s been closely concentrated right here. Maybe a little bit tiring at this stage, however I suppose youthful elves would deal with this higher. Guys, critically? How thick is that this? With water: takes water effectively, that is good.
