Dwelling The Dream has been experimenting with barrel tasks for years now, and the brewing crew is very excited to work with such an area collaborator. ROCKER Spirits opened in Littleton in 2016, and has since been crafting whiskey, rum, and vodka. Their whiskey boasts candy cereal aromas and notes of caramel, butterscotch, and honey, with a lightweight citrus and average oak end. This corn and wheat-based whiskey ages for at least 3 years in 53-gallon virgin American oak barrels earlier than ending in Port wine barrels.
Enter Dwelling The Dream Imperial Stout. This beer is brewed with a Root Shoot Genie Pale base with layered specialty malts to create its darkish coloration and roasty complexity. Dwelling The Dream’s brewing crew crammed freshly emptied ROCKER Spirits whiskey barrels with this full-bodied Stout, which took shortly to the oak, vanilla, and bourbon, and darkish crimson fruit flavors of the unique spirit.
