Fettercairn 16 yo (46.4%, OB, 2nd launch, +/-2022) 
We have tried the brand new 16 again in 2020 however it is a newer batch. Let’s do that fast… Color: gold. Nostril: pretty and strange. Dry Madeira, mustard, carbon mud, roasted sesame oil, pinewood, plasticine and paraffin, drop of vinegar, backyard peat, black cigars, bitter wine… Actually a malt like no different. Good enjoyable. Mouth: extremely completely different, beginning proper on thick stout and smoked mussels, occurring with the anticipated mustard, cedar wooden, oude (previous) genever, extra wax, then loads of marmalade and earth. A drop of amontillado too, some cinnamon… I discover this superb. Fettercairn 12 yo 2008/2021 (51.5%, Asta Morris, refill oloroso, cask #AM113, 240 bottles)

Fettercairn 12 yo 2008/2021 (53.4%, The Whisky Mercenary, Draconological Society, bourbon hogshead)

Fettercairn 14 yo 2007/2021 (55.3%, Cadenhead, Annual Store Launch, Whisky & Extra Baden, Palo Cortado Hogshead, 288 bottles)

Fettercairn 2006/2017 (45%, L’Esprit, Golden Barley, cask #107733, 350 bottles)
This French one needs to be gentler. We do want gentleness nowadays, will we not. Color: white wine. Nostril: softer certainly.
