One other fruit-heavy IPA from Deschutes is upon us, and whereas this one will not be made with precise fruit, it does function Mosaic, Simcoe, Strata, and Experimental 586 hops, the lattermost of which I’ve to imagine are chargeable for the burst of pineapple that flows forth from this brew, backed up by a squeeze of mandarin orange. The anticipated richness of a wheat-infused hazy is on show, although it’s by no means overly heavy and even chewy. As summer season heats up, it’s the right beer to kick off a Sunday night glad hour.
