Since my first style in 2014, I’ve been a fan of this sequence, however I haven’t re-visited it for a assessment until now with the Jefferson’s Ocean Voyage 24. And whereas it could have been about 8 years since I sat down for a proper assessment, I haven’t been a stranger.
At whiskey festivals, occasions, model tastings and personal tasting, bottles of Jefferson’s Ocean present up and whereas I haven’t liked each I’ve had, I haven’t hated any of them both. They’re all on the very least pleasant. Let’s hope this one retains that development.

Jefferson’s Ocean Voyage 24 – General Ideas and Rating
Like many of the Jefferson’s Ocean releases, this batch is respectable. I do like my earlier batch a bit extra, however there’s nothing to dislike on this batch. It’s a smooth, simple sipper with an apparently heavy banana notice. It will get extra oaky and spiced because it opens, however by no means turns into a closely oaked or spiced bourbon. It stays smooth and a bit fruity.
On the entire, this Jefferson’s Ocean Voyage 24 comes via as a barely above common bourbon. There’s nothing fallacious with it, it’s tasty, value no less than a drink and nice to combine with, however there isn’t a ton of depth to it so it finally ends up being on the lighter aspect general.
SCORE: 3/5 (above common, value testing ~ B- | 80-82)
