Lahaina, Hawaii’s Pacific’o on the Seashore Bar Supervisor, Mari Howe created a beautiful Maui-inspired recipe to attempt at residence utilizing a house-made Pineapple Demerara Syrup.
Mari Howe’s Maui Gold Original
Substances:
- 1 3/4 oz Bourbon
- 1/2 oz Averna Amaro
- 2 bar spoons Maui Gold Pineapple Demerara Syrup*
- 2 dashes Angostura and Xocolatl Mole Bitters
Preparation: Mix all components and stir in a mixing glass. Pressure over a big ice dice. Garnish with an expressed lemon peel and dehydrated pineapple.
*Maui Gold Pineapple Demerara Syrup:
Juice and pressure a recent pineapple. Mix equal components of pineapple juice to uncooked Demerara sugar. Dissolve over warmth.
