Chocolate Espresso Muertini




Components


  • 1.5 oz Gracias a Dios Espadín Mezcal
  • ½ oz Agave
  • 1 shot Double Espresso
  • 1/3 oz Home made Bitter Allspice*
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 tbs grated bitter chocolate (ideally Oaxacan chocolate)



Preparation

  1. Add all components to a shaker stuffed with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
  2. Pressure into a calming coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with a Jack-o-lantern formed orange peel and revel in!

*Home made Bitter Allspice


Components


  • 5 oz Gracias a Dios Espadín Mezcal
  • 3.5 oz Sugar
  • 5-7 complete pcs Allspice
  • 2 pcs Orange Peel
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

Preparation


  1. Add all components to a container and let stand coated for twenty-four hours.
