Our Drink of the Week is the Fig Outdated Long-established That includes Espanita Tequila


This vacation season, add this excellent cozy drink to your winter cocktails repertoire. For this yummy riff on conventional old school cocktail, we used Espanita Double Barrel Añejo tequila completed in KY bourbon casks.

This wealthy, elegantly executed, and decadently scrumptious Añejo tequila will appeal your palate with tantalizing, fragrant bourbon notes whereas expressing its grassy, fruit-driven Blue Agave basis; an ideal base for a flavor-packed Outdated-Long-established cocktail. Ripe figs contribute dried fruit, melon, berry, and sugar flavors which can be completely offset by recent fragrant zestiness of a ripe orange. Fragrant bitters add the ultimate elegant contact binding all substances collectively in a single flawless, satisfying sip of goodness.

Fig Outdated Long-established with Espanita Tequila

Substances

  • 2 oz Espanita Double Barrel Añejo Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Liber Fig Syrup
  • 3-4 dashes payment Brothers Outdated Long-established Fragrant Bitters
  • 1 expressed orange peel

Preparation

  1. Construct the cocktail in a mixing glass with ice by combining Espanita Double Barrel Añejo, fig syrup and bitters.
  2. Stir with a bar spoon to relax.
  3. Pressure over a big ice dice in a rocks glass.
  4. Twist orange zest over the drink to launch fragrant oils and drop the expressed peel in a glass.
  5. Garnish with a slice of a fig and thyme sprig.
