The newly opened downtown Tribeca location of Smith & Mills Rockefeller Heart cocktail program, led by Robert Krueger, Beverage Director, presents a number of favorites just like the Martini Trio that’s simply as aesthetic as it’s scrumptious and is reflective of the brand new area: refined but approachable.
The trio consists of Smith & Mills three Martini picks in a smaller type to create a pleasant grouping of mini-tinis.
The left-most cocktail is A Smokeshow, a Martini that packs a spicy punch together with Los Vecinos Mezcal, Cardenxe Sotol, Genepy, Lime Leaf Aperitif, Grapefruit Bitters, and Calabrian Chili.
The center Martini options the Mezu-Mezu that includes Navy Power Gin, Quinquina, and a Spanish Olive.
The fitting tini is Vesper Del Mar, made with Haku Vodka, Plymouth Gin, Blanc Vermouth, Fino Sherry, and a Kombu Pickled Onion.
The trio creates a superbly balanced profile of spicy, salty, and a little bit of sweetness. It continues to be a crowd pleaser as diners cease by for a fast chunk or keep for some time into the late-night hours.
