Our Drink of the Week is the “Rye Not?” Cocktail from Rhubarb


Beverage Supervisor J Adams created the “Rye Not?” cocktail, which is on the market at Rhubarb, the Appalachian-rooted, seasonally-focused restaurant situated within the coronary heart of Asheville, North Carolina.

This can be a whiskey lover’s dream with its harmonious style profile of nutty pecan, spiced cherry, and delicate chocolate overtones.

Rye Not?

Substances


  • 2 oz. Toasted Pecan Rye Whiskey (house-made)
  • 5 oz. Allspice Dram
  • .5 oz. Mulled-Cherry Port Wine (house-made)
  • 2-3 Dashes of Chocolate Bitters
  • Garnish: Smoked Glass / Skewered Mulled Cherry



Preparation

  1. Mix all elements and pour right into a smoked coupe glass.
  2. Garnish with skewered mulled cherry and luxuriate in!
