Russian River Vineyards Consolidates Possession

October 18th – Giovanni Balistreri (Gio), Russian River Vineyards Winemaker and Common Supervisor, and a small staff of economic backers have bought Russian River Vineyards from the massive associate group that has owned the enterprise since 2008.  Balistreri, an authentic RRV associate, has invigorated the enterprise, constructed a powerful working staff, and expanded gross sales and distribution since turning into Common Supervisor in 2019.

Within the fall of 2008, the historic property was bought by Giovanni Balistreri, famed Pinot Noir winemaker Anthony Austin, Chris O’Neill and over 40+ different buyers and companions.

“Having only a handful of householders and an easier administration construction now makes it simpler for me to deal with the wine and on rising the enterprise,” says Gio.

RRV is within the coronary heart of the Russian River Valley and has been famend for making award-winning single winery artisanal Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays, and different basic varietals since its inception in 1963.

Most not too long ago, Russian River Vineyards has gained “Finest Pinot Noir” in NorthBay Biz’s annual “BEST OF the North Bay” readers’ ballot for the second time and gained Finest Tasting Room and Finest White Wine within the 2022 Press Democrat Reader’s Ballot.

Anthony Austin, an authentic founder, and consulting winemaker will stay as an advisor to Balistreri and Russian River Vineyards.
