Bruichladdich 10 yo 2009/2020 (60.2%, Whisky-Circle Pinzgau, bourbon barrel, cask #3614)

Bruichladdich 27 yo (50.2%, Hunter Laing, The Kinship, refill American oak hogshead, 555 bottles, 2019) 
The numbers remind me of a sure Subaru… What a quick (and but ugly) automotive that was! Color: white wine. Nostril: identical territories, which is fascinating since this clearly stems from the ‘outdated ‘ regime. Proper, from Invergordon/Jim Beam Manufacturers. A recent, fruity, really somewhat easy nostril, on apples and damaged branches and roots. Celery once more, fennel, inexperienced melons, gooseberries… I am even discovering bamboo shoots right here. With (only a drop of) water: earth, seaside sand simply after excessive tide, clams, whelks and ‘stuff’… That is actually a coastal Bruichladdich. It is not at all times solely in our heads, you see… Mouth (neat): sensible, earthy, rooted and soupy, with some superb ‘Thai’ notes, citronella, basil, lemongrass, smooth chilli, coconut water, coriander… The nostril was fantastic however the palate is sort of stellar. With (only a drop of) water: there, impeccable, on fruit pastes, a salty contact, miso, focaccia… And lots of different tinier components of flavour. Nice complexity, must you give it a bit time. Bruichladdich 30 yo 1988/2019 (48.9%, Cadenhead, Single Cask, bourbon hogshead, 174 bottles)
