“Whereas trekking within the mountains of New Zealand (Aotearoa) I met a beautiful group of intrepid girls who hiked with me and taught me all about New Zealand fauna, some Maori language and tradition, and their satisfaction within the globally famend hops grown close to their hometown,” says Brewmaster, Invoice Cherry. “We stayed in contact after I returned and whereas sharing a photograph they despatched from the Wai-iti area with our Brewer Morgan, who spearheads our revolutionary DIPA Cat program, we found that Wai-iti can be the title of an intriguing New Zealand hop selection. From there, the idea of “Wai-iti Cat” was born.”
Wai-iti Cat’s label celebrates New Zealand’s basic ceremony of passage – bungee leaping. With the addition of a brand new Quadrel Techline excessive velocity labeler the brewery now has the power to create out-of-the-box labels that really match the character of every DIPA Cat. A spot varnish end on a matte base permits featured design components to come back alive because the can is rotated.
The DIPA Cat designs are a collaboration between Switchback’s long-time Graphic Designer, Interrobang Design, and Artist, Sole Kitchen.
