The unique Singleton, twenty years in the past or was it thirty? Was it extra? Reasonably horny whisky, if I keep in mind properly. Auchroisk 9 yo 2010/2020 (59.9%, Fadandel.dk, 1st fill Port barrique, cask #46, 285 bottles) 
Color: gold. Nostril: humorous and unusual, slightly dissonant at first (earth and strawberries?) with a contact of cleaning soap, it is also true that at such energy many bizarre issues can occur. So… With water: outdated wine barrel, cinnamon rolls, pear leaves, Wulong… And no cleaning soap left. Mouth (neat): a strawberry pie actually coated with caramel and liquid fudge. Millionaire shortbread, butterscotch, pancake sauce… You see… With water: it is actually not a kind of unexpectedly wine-finished whiskies that used to abound simply ten years in the past. No names, no. End: fairly lengthy, slightly extra peppery, but additionally with extra purple berries and all jams made thereof. A greenness within the aftertaste (stalk). Auchroisk 10 yo 2010/2021 (58.7%, Fadandel.dk, anniversary, 1st fill oloroso hogshead, cask #73, 256 bottles) 
Color: darkish gold. Nostril: extra walnuts, peanuts, meaty touches, a wee petroly facet maybe, black nougat, molasses, milk chocolate, a couple of pencil shavings… So a tad trendy, as anticipated, however every part’s properly in place and was achieved properly, so far as I can inform. With water: whiffs of cellulosic varnish, extra roasted nuts, plus some uncooked liquorice if you nostril deeply. Mouth (neat): large butterscotch, caramelised popcorn, treacle toffee, latte, Frappuccino, even Nutella. Jogs my memory of some caramel vodka that some loopy associates used to make. With water: takes water extraordinarily properly, as do most ‘trendy’ whiskies which have seen, properly, how we could name them, say ‘additional activated casks’? Auchroisk 47 yo 1974/2021 (48.7%, OB, Prima & Ultima, 382 bottles)
