The Gonzo Group have taken over operation of Adelaide establishment, Sugar Nightclub


Gonzo Group (Jon Di Pinto, Sean Howard & Michael Keogh), the legends behind Memphis Slims Home of Blues, Shotgun Willie’s and Cry Child et al, have taken over the operational reigns at an Adelaide establishment; Sugar nightclub.

This collaboration marks a reopening for Sugar after a year-long post-Covid closure. “Driller Jet Armstrong who has been on board operating it for the previous 20-odd years is sinking all of his plentiful artistic power into teeing up the reside DJ acts and operating the leisure facet,” says Keogh.

Having performed host to 470 worldwide artists and greater than 400 locals since its inception in 2002, Sugar has a agency spot within the hearts of generations of music producers, curators and lovers.
