The Islay Boys have introduced plans to create Islay’s twelfth whisky distillery, Laggan Bay Distillery, at Glenegedale in Laggan Bay on Islay.
As a part of the challenge, The Islay Boys have introduced a partnership with family-owned Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd to assist carry the challenge to fruition.
Leonard Russell, chairman of Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd, mentioned: “I’ve identified and labored with the Islay Boys for a very long time, and I’m delighted to have the ability to carry our lengthy expertise in creating high quality scotch single malts to the Laggan Bay Distillery challenge.”
