The Tia Mia is Mexican Mai Tai by Ivy Combine, creator of Spirits of Latin America.

Within the mid 2000s Ivy liked floating a splash of mezcal on a variety of drinks, particularly the Mai Tai. Round 2010 she created the Tia Mia and dedicated a full ounce of mezcal rather than the Martinique rum that’s present in considered one of Dealer Vic’s Mai Tai iterations.

Tia Mia is Spanish for “my aunt” and was a fond nickname Ivy gave to considered one of her regulars.
