This new restricted launch from Benromach Distillery is a tremendous follow-up to the 2021 version, which was voted World’s Finest Whisky on the San Francisco World Spirits Competitors. Matured within the most interesting hand-selected sherry casks, this forty years previous single malt from Benromach Distillery delivers aromatic spices and stewed pink berries, adopted by morello cherry, darkish chocolate and mature oak.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Aromatic cinnamon and ginger spices with Seville orange. Stewed pink berries develop with a touch of roasted hazelnut.
PALATE: Candy Morello cherry flavours mixed with baked apple and liquorice. Wealthy darkish chocolate notes resulting in fruitcake and refined black pepper
FINISH: Full, with forest fruits and mature oak.
