Macallan 19 Yr Previous 2003 classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Single sherry cask ##13603601 bottled 2022 by Gordon & MacPhail for the Speymalt collection. Unique to the UK market. Simply 313 bottles. Wealthy stewed apple aromas with festive spices and citrus. The palate is spicy with flavours of fruitcake, summer time berries and charred oak. The end lingers with cocoa powder.

The Macallan Distillery was established by Alexander Reid in 1824 as Elchies Distillery close to Easter Elchies Home. Easter Elchies Home dates again to 1700 and the property itself to not less than the seventeenth century. Macallan Distillery is a malt whisky distillery located in Speyside whisky area. The previous nonetheless home was re-commissioned in 2008 and now Macallan Distillery operates with two nonetheless homes sheltering twenty-one copper stills. A model new distillery is beneath building and designed to accommodate thirty one stills thereby retaining Macallan amongst the highest producers by quantity. On-site maturation is carried out in conventional dunnage warehouses and by racking in massive new warehouses on the property.
