A surprising 24-year-old Fettercairn bottled by The Loch Fyne. This expression matured till February 2020 in an ex-bourbon hogshead earlier than being re-racked to a primary fill Sauternes cask. This well-aged restricted launch is free from chill filtration and synthetic colouring. It’s bottled at a sturdy cask power of 53.6% abv. A dram that celebrates every thing that’s so great about Fettercairn!
Count on aromas of almonds, banana, dates, recent ginger, and tropical fruits. The palate is stuffed with darkish chocolate, pistachios, and poached pear with a touch of espresso espresso. The end brings orange zest, sultanas, and treacle.
