This white rum cocktail makes use of a spiced syrup and grapefruit, plus a zesty hit of ginger beer.
Winter Star
- 8 oz. Kōloa Kaua’i white rum
- 4 oz. Giffard Pamplemousse liqueur
- 2 ½ oz. Star anise syrup*
- 8 oz. Fever Tree ginger beer
- Slices of Pink grapefruit

Mix elements in a pitcher.

Squeeze grapefruit slices into pitcher.

Serve over ice and stir.

Garnish with pink grapefruit and rosemary tip in every glass.
*For Star anise syrup: In a small pot, dry warmth 5 star anise till heat and fragrant. Add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar. Stir till sugar is dissolved. Retailer in hermetic container.
